1. Evil Dead: The Game

Evil Dead is one harrowing horror movie franchise accompanied by a television series – and then, of course, multiple video games were inspired by the franchise. However, we loved the version that was released recently in May. The franchise also includes comic books and even a musical.

Known as Evil Dead: The Game, this came with single-player as well as multi-player story-based formats. Created as a horror survival game, players have to work together, trying to find things which can be used for killing the demon. The demon, on the other hand, will have the power to kill all the survivors.

2. Jurassic World Evolution

One of the biggest sci-fi franchises out there, The Jurassic Park movies or the Jurassic World, has also inspired the creation of the Jurassic World Evolution, which happens to be a management-simulator video game. It might sound like the premise of this game is a little boring, but if you are a fan of the Jurassic Park franchise, then you will enjoy this game.

You will be literally responsible for building parks across various different timelines, creating services when visitors start coming in, and managing dinosaurs. Your dinosaurs might end up eating a few visitors when they are not happy with something – players are required to act fast during such times.

3. Alien: Isolation

Another horror movie franchise, it is obvious that our preferences bend a little more towards the horror genre! Alien is again a horror movie which contributed to the whole craze about sci-fi. Directed by Ridley Scott, the original movie came out in 1979, and since then, the movie has only expanded into a popular franchise.

So the video game was kind of eventual when you think about it. Created by Creative Assembly, the game is known as Alien: Isolation. The game follows Ellen Ripley’s daughter, Amanda Ripley, in search of her mother. Young Amanda stumbles upon the Sevastopol space station filled with Xenomorphs.

4. Blair Witch

Released in 1999, The Blair Witch Project tells the tale of campers who travel to the woods while shooting a documentary about the infamous Blair Witch, only to fall prey to a supernatural entity in the woods. One of the more bone-chilling horror movies ever released, the film was critically acclaimed when it was released.

There is an entire trilogy of games that were created after the film was released, but it was the game made by the Blooper Team, which was released sometime in 2019, that won all the fame. In this game, players would be able to relate to the feel and tone of the original movie. So enjoy the whole fear-inducing experience of coming across the Blair Witch in the woods.

And It’s A Wrap!

Yes, we know our list has horror games mostly but then aren’t those the most fun to play? We love binging on horror movies, and reliving those supernatural experiences in the game is perhaps one of the most adrenaline-inducing activities. If you haven’t tried this game out yet, then simply download these today, and have a fun, albeit scary, experience.
